Bacon Boy lives on

Bacon Boy continues to live on and inspire other artist, most recently the metal shop at David Douglas High school. They are creating a 10 foot high Bacon Boy out of scrap metal and bicycle parts. There is more planed, or at least in the works for bacon boy as well. According to Kathy Aney from The East Oregonian

The sculpture isn't the only Bacon Boy project in the works. The Children's Healing Arts Project, Etxaniz said, is talking to Dark Horse Comics and Laika Entertainment about an animated feature.

Etxaniz is bringing another of Austin's drawing to life - his line of Bacon Boy businesswear, starting with a beaded Elvis-style suit with Swarovski crystal.

The French wool suit will be "caution yellow" and have flames going down each leg.

I can't wait to see the Bacon Boy comics, Enjoy,
