Happy V - Day

Happy valentines day all out there (okay so it's almost done here in Oz, but you guys in the states are just a few hours away). Are you still wondering what to get that special some one? Well those near Boulder should get the Bacon Cupcakes from Tee and cakes, a nice relaxing morning to go with your sweetie (or savory) and pick up some cupcakes. For the rest of us not in the Boulder area, Rocco from Bacon Freak has a number of bacon packages out there, but that might take a bit longer then you have for V-Day. You could just make a wonderful diner, a new favorite recipe of mine is from Jamie Oliver with white fish and bacon, I couldn't find it online, but I found this one instead which looks just as good. If you wanted to try to stick with something traditional, you could make some chocolate covered bacon, which is what I plan to do tomorrow after all the chocolate is on sale (I am a poor grad student, it's lucky this whole blog isn't about ramen with bacon bits).
