Plans are forming for a Turducken, and I think I might have to try to make my own bacon for the event. Here is a recipe from LA times. Has anyone out there made their own bacon, and any helpful tips?

Ideas for bacon in 2009
I know many of you have probably seen this article from the LA times, or the same ideas else where, but here is a list of things to do with bacon. I think my favorite might still be the bacon wrapped peppers with cream cheese.
