The Passing of Bacon Boy

Austin, creator of bacon boy passed away awhile ago. I didn't write anything earlier, well because I'm not very good at finding the right words for these occasions (or any occasion really, but these especially). You can find a very nice article about Austin with a video at Katu News . His t-shirts are still avalible through CHAP (link is on the top of the right hand panel). We here at international bacon day send our condolences to Austin's friends and family. I wish I could have met him and talked over a piece of bacon. Please join the fight with Bacon Boy against cancer.

Bacon Boy

An update on Austin. He is home now, but the doctors are not to hopeful that he will make it through the week. His family has been very moved by everyone's interest in Austin's art and I just wanted to pass this on. You can still get Bacon Boy t-shirts and remember half the proceeds go to Austin, and half go to CHAP (Children Healing Art Project).

New Bacon Boy Apparel

If you remember we posted about Bacon Boy back in July. I have now found that they are selling Bacon Boy t-shirts and will hopefully have a permeant link soon, but for now you can get to them through the CHAP (Children Healing Art Project) website. Half the proceeds go to CAHP and half to Austin.
