On Tuesday, "The Tonight Show" received the bust — made of white chocolate with bacon for hair — and O'Brien did a segment with it Wednesday.This would be so awesome to see. I've seen the butter sculptures at the MN state fair, and I've seen them being carved, it's really very cool. I couldn't easily find a photo, but I found this.

I began the day with a bacon-egg-cheese burrito. Lunch was a torn salad/bacon/ranch dressing burrito - I do like to make burritos! - and I didn't even know it was Bacon Day!
Much as I like bacon strips, I buy cheaper brands and they always seem to be smushed into a twisted pile. So I've taken to using bone shears to cut them into one-inch pieces. They cook up nice and crisp, are easy to use, and the bacon drippings I save for later use. As I'm sure you all do.

That sounds delicious! I love burritos, but have always used Chorizo, I'm not sure why I never thought of bacon. I know what my breakfast is going to be tomorrow.
