Bacon Cupcakes in Boulder

If you are celebrating Bacon Day in the Boulder-Denver area, you might like to make sure that you put your order in sooner rather then later for some great bacon cupcakes at Tee and Cakes. They do sell the ChocolateBaconCupcakes on Sat. and Bacon Day is on a Sat., but they have reported that in the past they have run out, so make sure to put your order in early. I can't imagine a better way to enjoy Bacon Day than, after a full day of bacon, sitting down and enjoying a nice Bacon Cupcake.

Happy V - Day

Happy valentines day all out there (okay so it's almost done here in Oz, but you guys in the states are just a few hours away). Are you still wondering what to get that special some one? Well those near Boulder should get the Bacon Cupcakes from Tee and cakes, a nice relaxing morning to go with your sweetie (or savory) and pick up some cupcakes. For the rest of us not in the Boulder area, Rocco from Bacon Freak has a number of bacon packages out there, but that might take a bit longer then you have for V-Day. You could just make a wonderful diner, a new favorite recipe of mine is from Jamie Oliver with white fish and bacon, I couldn't find it online, but I found this one instead which looks just as good. If you wanted to try to stick with something traditional, you could make some chocolate covered bacon, which is what I plan to do tomorrow after all the chocolate is on sale (I am a poor grad student, it's lucky this whole blog isn't about ramen with bacon bits).

If you try any or all of these v-day suggestions let us know how it went, and what the other party thought.

If you are in the Boulder area and where hoping to get some Bacon Cupcakes from Tee & Cakes for the weekend, it might be a good idea to call them tonight and reserve enough for the family. You can pre order at 720 - 406 - 7548 and they are located right off of the pearl street Mall. They have been selling out quickly, remember they are ready by 10:30 am. I see they also have mustache, piggy, and even skull (maybe for skulls and bacon ) decorated cupcakes, I bet you could get bacon cupcakes decorated for any occasion.

Update on the Boulder Bacon cupcake store.

Here is the website for this wonderful place called Tee & Cakes. If you are in Boulder, they are just off Pearl street and very easy to find. If you are visiting some of the best places are off the Pearl Street Mall, so while you visit Tee& Cakes, check out some of the other stores there as well (The Bombay Bistro is my favorite place in Boulder).
